Acer Liquid E2 lands on Three UK, contract prices start at £17

Announced in late June, Acer's mid-level Liquid E2 handset has gone on sale onThree UK today. The E2 runs a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, and has a 4.5-inch qHD (960x540) display, 1GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel camera. On the networking side, the handset supports 42Mbps DC-HSDPA, but not LTE.

So we're far from the cutting edge of smartphone tech here, but Three is offering some competitive pricing on the Liquid E2. It's available for free on 24-month contracts starting at £17 per month, which gets you unlimited data, 100 minutes and 5,000 texts. And there's a similarly cheap SIM-free price of just £149.99 up-front, too.
